ISO 45001:2018 is an internationally recognized standard that outlines the requirements for an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS). Its primary goal is to provide organizations with a framework to effectively manage occupational health and safety risks, prevent work-related injuries and illnesses, and promote a safe working environment for employees and stakeholders.
This standard adopts a systematic approach to OH&S management, integrating principles of risk assessment, hazard identification, and continual improvement. By implementing ISO 45001, organizations can proactively identify and mitigate risks, comply with legal and regulatory requirements, and enhance their overall performance through improved worker safety and well-being.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
The objectives of this training are to provide participants with an interpretation of the ISO 45001:2018 requirements and an understanding of the rationale and foundation of the standard.
