ISO 14001:2026 Environmental Management System Awareness Training

1. INTRODUCTION
   

   
   ISO 14001:2026 is the fourth edition of the international standard for environmental management system (EMS).  It provides a systematic framework for organizations to manage their environmental responsibilities in a way that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability.  The 2026 version emphasizes protecting the environment and responding to changing environmental conditions (such as climate change and biodiversity loss) in balance with socio-economic needs.  By conforming to this standard, organizations enhance their environmental performance, meet compliance obligations, and achieve their environmental objectives.
