ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System Awareness Training

1. INTRODUCTION
   ISO 14001 is the most widely used standard in the world. This Environmental Management System standard forms the foundation for defining a system of process risk and performance based required to achieve environmental protection which is the fundamental reason of existence for all organizations.

   The latest 2015 edition of the standard emphasizes leadership from the top management in ensuring the system meets its intended outcome. Also top management has to take accountability and provide support to the organization’s management team especially in aligning the system to the organization’s strategic direction.

   This training course is to provide the participants with the necessary knowledge specially designed to provide sufficient awareness of the ISO 14001:2015 to the top management so that they can carry out their all-important role in setting the system right.

   The objectives of this training aim to provide the participants an interpretation of the ISO 14001:2015 requirements. Also, an understanding of the rationale and the foundation of the standard.

   • Introduction risk-based approach; life cycle thinking; documented information and environmental performance evaluation;

   This course is compulsory and designed for environmental management professionals, management staff, QA and QC Engineers and supervisors who are likely to involve or currently involving in the implementing of the ISO 14000 EMS and/ other related documented environmental systems.
